Sharon Kaye Williams was born Apr. 3, 1956 in Sulphur and passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021 at the age of 64.
She was a loving mother, MawMaw, sister and friend. Her grandboys were her pride and joy. Sharon Kaye was a very conscientious, hard worker. She was the backbone of her family with a heart of gold. She always saw the best in everyone and was always willing to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Khristian Shimboff and husband, Anthony; grandchildren, Anthian Zephaniah and Jhemi; sister, Sandra Teeter and husband, Larry, Kathy Hammett, and Deborah Norgaard; brothers, Roger Dale Williams and James Brandon Williams; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Alvin Williams and Dorothy Mae Phillips Williams; and her sister, Christine Evon Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 4, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Mar. 5, at Gambrell Baptist Church in Starks. There will be a private interment at Smith Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
