DeQuincy 1, Iowa 11 – DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-1 loss to Iowa on Friday, Feb. 26.
The DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Iowa, giving up 11 runs.
Raeleigh Granger took the loss for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Granger gave up nine runs on six hits over three innings, striking out one.
Baileigh Kellogg went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity in hits.
DeQuincy 23, Westlake 7 – DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in a 23-7 victory over Westlake on Saturday.
Raeleigh Granger pitched DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity to victory. Granger gave up seven runs on two hits over three innings, striking out six.
DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity hit one homerun on the day. Willis went deep in the second inning.
DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity racked up 14 hits on the day. Kellogg, Willis, Bullitt, and Patin each managed multiple hits for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Kellogg went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity in hits.
DeQuincy 0, DeRidder 17 – DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 17-0 loss to DeRidder on Saturday.
The DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of DeRidder, giving up 17 runs.
A double by Adah Doucet in the first inning was a positive for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity.
