Andrew R. Reeves Jr., 90, of Lake Charles, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Kinder and grew up in Gillis. He worked in maintenance for Cities Service. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War where he served as a Sargent.
Survivors include his two sons, Ricky Reeves of Gillis, and Lennie Reeves of Moss Bluff; three daughters, Bonnie Walker of Ragley, DesaRae Kespelher of Sulphur, and Shannon Reeves; two brothers, Harold Reeves and Hubert Reeves, both of Reeves; two sisters, Jenna Lee Hooker and Marjorie Jordan, both of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Reeves; parents, Andrew Reeves Sr. and Edith Creel; and grandson, Bruce Andrew Reeves.
The funeral service was held at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Rev. Shaun Chisholm officiated and interment followed at Creel Cemetery.
