John Edward Baggett, Sr., 66, of Boyce died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021.
Survivors include his son, John Baggett, Jr. and Heather of Elmer; daughters, Kimberly Mahaffey and Greg of Tioga, Tonya Alabid and Wissam of Alexandria, Jessica Hamilton of Glenmora, Brandi Frederickson and Robert of Moss Bluff, Dottie Gatewood of Pitkin; brother, Daniel Baggett of DeRidder; sisters, Wanda Linscomb of Jonesville, Ark., Bobby Willis of Silsbee, Texas, Brenda Craft of Frisco City, Ala.; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Baggett; parents, Joseph and Mildred Baggett; grandparents, Dan Baggett, Joe Guillory, Azelina Granger; one brother; and two sisters.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Brother Clyde Snyder officiated. Burial followed at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.
