Richard “Ricky” Wayne Perkins, 50, of Singer died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 in Sulphur. He was born in Lafayette.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Perkins; mother, Gloria Williams of Sulphur; sons, Michael Perkins of DeQuincy, Alstin Perkins (Haley) of Vinton, Josh Perkins of Westlake, Grady Perkins and twin sister, Gracie Perkins, both of Sulphur, Austin Benson (Stephanie) of Singer, Josh Bankens of Sulphur; daughters, Kasey Jackson (Seth) of DeQuincy, Brielley Perkins of Oretta, Jordan Cooper (William) of Singer, Danielle Benson of Singer; brothers, Tommy Perkins (Stephanie) of Singer, Scotty Perkins of Sulphur, Johnny Wayne Perkins, Jr. (Tammy) of DeQuincy, Gary Lynn Perkins of Orange, Texas; sister, Becky Perkins of Sulphur; along with numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Wayne Perkins, Sr; and three sisters.
A celebration service was held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 14, with Bro. Donnis Ashworth officiating. Burial followed at Oretta Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
