W J Buck of DeQuincy died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 in DeQuincy.
He was born in Washington and was a resident of DeQuincy where he was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He worked as a cement finisher.
He was survived by his sons, DeAndre Mallet (LaQuanda Watson), Kenneth (Malgorzata) Buck, and Kevin Mallet; two brothers, Curley Buck Jr. and Willie Buck Jr.; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Elva Buck Sr.
His graveside service was held on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Community Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of James Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Pastor James Harris officiated.
