CITY OF DEQUINCY
ORDINANCE NO.935
The City Council of the City of DeQuincy, State of Louisiana, met in regular session on the 9th day of November, 2020, and adopted the following Ordinance regarding the matter of lot cleanliness.
WHEREAS, the City of DeQuincy recently passed several Emergency Ordinances to deal with matters arising out of the damage and destruction caused by Hurricane Laura, which Ordinances are listed as follows:
Ordinance No. 929 which set forth requirements concerning temporary placement of mobile homes and travel trailers as a result of damages caused by Hurricane Laura.
Ordinance No. 930 which provided for emergency disaster pay for the City of DeQuincy first responders , public works department, department heads and city hall personnel.
Ordinance No. 931 which authorized the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the most qualified applicant for disaster debris monitoring contract.
Ordinance No. 932 which authorized the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the most qualified applicant for emergency debris removal and site management contract.
Ordinance No. 933 which authorized the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the most qualified applicant for consulting and representation services.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that the best interests of the City and its citizens would be served by extending the operation and effect of these Ordinances for an indefinite period.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council that the above listed Ordinances are hereby ratified, approved and adopted for the purposes stated therein and shall remain in full force and effect as long as necessary to fulfil the obligations of the City stated in each Ordinance.
This Ordinance was declared duly adopted this 9th day of November, 2020.
