Hixson-Snider Funeral Home’s Thanksgiving “L.I.F.T.” program is set for Wednesday, Nov. 4. at 10 a.m. Special guest will be Pastor Hope Lowery Snider.
With a desire to follow the calling God placed on her life, she pursued higher education and finished with a Masters degree in Music Education.
In 1999, she and her husband, Jerry, founded Christian World in Lake Charles where they pastor together. Pastor Hope uses her witty and humorous teaching style to impart Biblical truths in a relevant way. She has a passion for loving people right where they are and helping them realize God’s plan for their life.
She is a breast cancer survivor and is devoted to helping women realize the power they possess through the Word of God.
She is a lover of music, books, and spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters, Allie and Sophie.
L.I.F.T. or Living Information For Today is a social program that helps widows, widowers and anyone who has lost a loved one engage in life again after that loss in a social setting. Through special events and outings L.I.F.T. gives individuals the opportunity to socialize with others who share similar feelings and experiences.
