The City Council of the City of DeQuincy met in emergency session on Wednesday, August 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at the DeQuincy Police Station, 101 S. Pine Street,
DeQuincy, Louisiana with the following members present: Ronda Jacobs, Denise Maddox and Mark Peloquin. Absent: Judy Landry, and Daisy Cole.
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. by Mark Peloquin and the roll was called with the above result.
There was no public input.
A motion was made by Denise Maddox and seconded by Ronda Jacobs to authorize Mayor Riley Smith, on behalf of the City of DeQuincy, to enter into an agreement with CROWDERGULF, Disaster Recovery and Debris Management for emergency debris removal for the City of DeQuincy. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Denise Maddox,
Ronda Jacobs and Mark Peloquin. Nays: None. Absent: Judy Landry and Daisy Cole.
Abstain: None.
A motion was made by Denise Maddox and seconded by Ronda Jacobs to authorize Mayor Riley Smith, on behalf of the City of DeQuincy, to enter into an agreement with Tetra Tech, a monitoring debris service for emergency data collection for the City of DeQuincy. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Denise Maddox, Ronda Jacobs and Mark Peloquin. Nays: None. Absent: Judy Landry and Daisy Cole. Abstain: None.
There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Denise Maddox and seconded Ronda Jacobs to adjourn the meeting.
