Lawton Neil Royer, 35, of DeQuincy was born in Lake Charles on Nov. 11, 1984. He passed from this life on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 10 years, Stesha Johnson Royer; and his two adoring children, his daughter Londyn Marie Royer, 7, and his son, Luke Lawton Royer, 2. Also, his parents Larry and Nellwyn P. Royer; his aunt, Aleta Pinder Benoit and husband Tommy; his uncles, Charles Pinder, and Darwin Pinder and wife Patty; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Stephanie Wilson of Orange, Texas and grandparents-in-law Caroll and Helen Johnson of Starks.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Newton and Lawilda Royer; and maternal grandparents Connell and Evelyn Pinder.
The family received visitors on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy with Rev. Carlton Jackson officiating. Private interment was held at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
