Hospital, clinics, more open

Dr. Joudeh, DeQuincy Memorial Hospital Chief of Staff, gave the DeQuincy News this report:

The Emergency Room is fully functional and fully staffed 24 hours seven days a week.

The Lab is fully functional and staffed for emergencies and outpatient services.

X-ray and CT scan departments are fully functional and staffed for emergencies and outpatient services.

The inpatient ward is undergoing clean up and reconstruction. Hence, there are no admissions at this time. The completion date is not determined at this time.

The Behaviorial Unit is undergoing cleaning and mild reconstruction. Completion date will be soon but not still undetermined.

Dr. Chadha’s Medical Clinic is open. Dr Jacobs’ clinic is open and has relocated to the professional building across from the hospital. DeQuincy Medical clinic is open. DeQuincy Home Health has relocated to the professional building also.

The phone and internet services vary for each location. We advise patients to contact their Primary Care Physician’s clinic to find out their services

For emergencies, please go to nearest ER.

The Care Center of DeQuincy is open and fully operational and staffed.

Don’t forget Covid-19. All physical and social distancing is encouraged to include using masks in public, avoid gathering in private or public and diligent handwashing.

It is very important to take the flu shot this season. Everyone is urged to contact their PCP for flu shot and recommendations.
