Tonya Renee’ Weaver, 57, of Lake Charles, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
She was born to her late parents, Joe and Loyce Spikes Weaver on July 27, 1962 in Lake Charles. She loved reading, arts and crafts, and collecting stuffed animals. Tonya enjoyed music and singing.
She is survived by two brothers, David Weaver and wife Kelly of Oretta, and John Weaver and wife Leah of DeQuincy; one sister, Amanda Stanley of Springfield, Mo.; uncle, Douglas Trotti of Bancroft; cousin, Gelena Trotti Statum of DeQuincy; along with numerous family members on her father’s side.
Visitation was held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, from 5 until 8 p.m. Visitation resumed on Tuesday, July 28, at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home, from 11 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of her life at 1 p.m. Rev. Guy Snyder officiated. Burial followed at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft.
Services were entrusted to Jordan and Amanda Mothershed of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home, 205 E. Harrison St., DeQuincy.
