All branches of the Calcasieu Parish Public Library will reopen to the public on Wednesday, June 17.
Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., with the exception of the Hayes and Starks branches which will both operate at their normal operating hours.
Curbside service will still be available at all branch locations.
In addition, the library’s Wi-Fi has been enhanced in the parking areas for patrons to access during closed hours.
Public computers will be accessible at all branches and all facilities have been sanitized per CDC guidelines for the public’s safety.
“We are excited to welcome our communities back to our libraries,” said Christy Comeaux, Public Information Officer. “Our janitorial staff, along with our library staff have been working hard to assure the public that our libraries are clean and sanitary for use.”
The branches will be opened with metered access and at a reduced capacity.
