Shawn Avery Diener, 50, of DeQuincy, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 17, 1969 to his parents, Dennis and Ethel Diener in Mamou, LA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hanging out with his family, and riding his four wheeler.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Mae Diener; one son, Adam Perron of DeQuincy; four daughters, Berdie Deville and husband John of Sulphur, Jaime Kollars and husband Royce of Orange, Ethel Ellen Diener of Zwolle, Victoria Diener Schmidt and husband Tylor of Moss Bluff; one brother, Brett Allen Diener and wife Laura of Noble; eight grandchildren John Deville, Jr, Tazlynn Kollars, Hunter Schmidt, Hayden Schmidt, Natasha Kollars, Cody Kollars, Hudsyn Schmidt, and Adaline Kollars.
Shawn is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Lee Diener; and two brothers, Bryan Avery Diener, and Antony James Diener.
A private Celebration of Shawn’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home, with Kiaeem Walker officiating.
