DeQuincy 1, Grand Lake 9

DeQuincy High Lady Tigers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-1 loss to Grand Lake.

The Lady Tigers lost despite out-hitting Grand Lake four to three.

Raeleigh Granger took the loss for Lady Tigers. She allowed three hits and nine runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Ashlyn Bullitt, Katie Willis, Cenly Doyle, and Sarah Morvant all had one hit to lead Lady Tigers.

DeQuincy 15, Jennings 5

Lady Tigers cruised to an easy victory over Jennings 15-5.

Lady Tigers scored seven runs in the fifth inning. The Lady Tigers put the pressure on, lead by an error on a ball put in play by Cenly Doyle and Ashlyn Bullitt, doubles by Raeleigh Granger and Sarah Morvant, and a triple by Baileigh Kellogg.

Hannah Jefferson led the Lady Tigers to victory in the pitcher’s circle. She surrendered five runs on four hits over six innings, striking out two and walking one.

The Lady Tigers had 11 hits in the game. Adah Doucet, Morvant, Granger, and Kellogg each had multiple hits for Lady Tigers. Doucet led Lady Tigers with three hits in five at bats.

DeQuincy 16, South Cameron 3

Lady Tigers defeated South Cameron 16-3 thanks to a 11 runs in a big sixth inning. Adah Doucet, Baileigh Kellogg, Katie Willis, Raeleigh Granger, Jana Barrow, and Sarah Morvant all moved runners across the plate.

Granger pitched Lady Tigers to victory. She surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings, striking out eight.

Lady Tigers tallied 11 hits. Kellogg, Doucet, Morvant, and Barrow all managed multiple hits for Lady Tigers. Kellogg went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lady Tigers in hits.

DeQuincy 11, Oakdale 1

Lady Tigers had all cylinders firing on offense winning big over Oakdale 11-1

Lady Tigers got things started in the first inning. Katie Willis singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Raeleigh Granger earned the win for Lady Tigers. She allowed four hits and one run over six innings, striking out 12.

Lady Tigers racked up 12 hits. Granger, Willis, and Adah Doucet each had multiple hits for Lady Tigers. Willis and Granger each managed three hits to lead Lady Tigers.

DeQuincy 4, South Beauregard 8

South Beauregard proved once again to be a heartbreaker for the Lady Tigers, as they lost the lead late in an 8-4 defeat.

Granger took the loss for Lady Tigers. She allowed eight hits and eight runs over seven innings, striking out one.

Lady Tigers smacked one home run on the day. Adah Doucet had a homer in the third inning.

Doucet led Lady Tigers with two hits in four at bats.
