DeQuincy High Lady Tigers win an easy one over St. Louis Catholic 17-2. They scored early and often, scoring one run when Katie Willis singled in an RBI.
They tallied five runs in the fourth inning. Lady Tigers’ offense in the inning came from a triple by Willis, a single by Baileigh Kellogg and Adah Doucet, and a double by Jana Barrow.
Raeleigh Granger was credited with the victory for the Lady Tigers. She gave up two runs on six hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one.
The Lady Tigers had 11 hits and scored 17 runs over three and two-thirds innings.
Willis, Sarah Morvant, and Barrow all had multiple hits for Lady Tigers. Willis led Lady Tigers with three hits in three at bats.
