Marshall Wayne Bertrand, 60, of Lake Charles died Sunday Feb. 23, 2020.
He was born in DeQuincy and later moved to Colorado for 22 years. He and his wife moved back to Louisiana in 2010. He was a Diesel Mechanic and a CDL over the road truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Amanda Bertrand; sons, Zach and wife Regan Bertrand of DeRidder, Charles Bertrand and wife Erica of DeQuincy; daughters, Melissa Allcock of Oklahoma Autumn Bertrand of Lake Charles; brother, Tommy Bertrand of Durant, Okla.; sister, Lucie Mesuch of Sulphur; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Zelda Mae Powers Bertrand; and one sister.
Visitation will be held at Hargrove Baptist Church in DeQuincy from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. on Thursday Feb. 27.
Cremation will be under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home.
