Milton Eugene “Mickey” Whitaker, 85, of Merryville, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020.
He is survive by his son, David Whitaker and Erica of Longville; daughters, Dianne Burgess and Paul Mariette of Albuquerque, N.M. and Nina Solo and Larry of Denver, Colo.; stepson, James Calk and Amanda of Lufkin, Texas; sister, Jeanette Pelt of Sugartown; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Whitaker; parents, Eugene and June Mae Whitaker; and one sister.
Funeral service was held at Saturday, Jan. 25 at First Baptist Church in Merryville. Brother Wayne Squyres officiated. Burial followed at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder.
