Vaughn Marcantel was born Jan. 19, 1962 and passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 at the age of 57.
He is survived by his children, Paige Gardner and husband, Troy; Chase Marcantel and wife, Colette; Mallory Richard and husband, Jacque and Blaire Allain; seven grandchildren; his sisters, Linda Walea and husband, Rev. C. J. Walea and Wanda Gibson and husband, Rev. Kenneth Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Wayne and Louise Marcantel.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. A private interment was held at the Masonic Cemetery, DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
