The DeQuincy Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary held our monthly meeting on July 26.
The officers for our new fiscal year are Patricia Coleman, President; Margaret Clement, Vice President; Ethel Crawford, Secretary; Alice Danclar, Treasurer; and Diane Williams, Parliamentarian. Our Advisor is Cathy Jones.
We held a fundraiser, Bake Sale, on Friday, Aug. 9, in the hospital lobby to kick off our new year. The Pink Ladies will be working toward giving two graduating Seniors from DeQuincy High School a Scholarship. Those who apply must follow the guidelines and seek a degree in some type of medical field. The criteria is listed on the application and students can see their Counselor for assistance.
The Pink Ladies are looking for volunteers who would be interested in working three hours a week and joining our team. You can stop by the hospital and pick up an application from our Advisor, Cathy Jones. Being a volunteer is very rewarding!
