Hope House brings hope to substance abuse problems

Glynn Wheeler and Broc Dupre spoke to members at the Southwest Louisiana Law Center about Hope House of DeQuincy and the efforts to help area residents combat substance abuse.

Recently, Max Glynn Wheeler, Director of The Hope House of DeQuincy and Broc Dupre, resident of Hope House, shared information with the Southwest Louisiana Law Center about how the Hope House operates and what the citizens of SWLA can do to combat the growing substance abuse problem in our area.

The Hope House of DeQuincy is a nonprofit, Christ centered recovery program, helping men regroup and find true purpose and their identity in Christ.

The Southwest Louisiana Law Center is a non-profit Law firm, who bridges the gap between Legal Aid and private Attorneys. Their mission is Bridging the Gap – bringing hope to the economically disadvantaged of Southwest Louisiana.

The goal is a joint effort from the two non-profit groups to better the community.
