DeQuincy Industrial Airpark receives fence funding

DeQuincy Industrial Airpark Airport will receive $150,000 in funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration to reconstruct 17,519 feet of existing perimeter fencing in the third phase of the project.

Senator Bill Cassidy and Representative Clay Higgins both assisted in the process. The replacement fencing is part of a five year plan of projects needed at the airport.

Congressman Higgins released the following statement: “The DeQuincy Industrial Airpark is a major asset for the city. Infrastructure investments like this ensure that our local airfields can continue to operate safely and support local commerce.”
