Richard Wayne Rainwater Sr., 68, was born on July 18, 1950 and passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019
He is survived by his children, Richard “Ricky” Rainwater, Jr. and wife, Beverly of Singer, and Lisa Rainwater Berzas and husband, Ricky of Admore, Okla.; five grandchildren, Brooke Grove and husband, Reese, Colten Rainwater and wife, Laura, Corey Berzas, Justin Berzas and wife, Bethany, and Kourtney Berzas; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, James Rainwater; sisters, Diane Allson and husband, Don, Carolyn Rainwater and Lora Rainwater Sims and husband, Dez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Rainwater and Lois Hydle Rainwater; great-granddaughter, Natalie Berzas; and one brother, Darrell Rainwater.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Riley Smith Funeral Home in DeQuincy, and the funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday, June 21. Rev. Eric Aultman will officiate. Interment will follow at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
