Kristian Poncho formally announced his candidacy for State Representative in District 32.
He is a small businessman, Coushatta Tribe – Turkey clan member, representative on the SWLA Economic Alliance, and Jefferson Davis Chamber of Commerce member.
He graduated from LSU-Eunice with an Associate’s Degree in Humanities. He is pursuing a Batchelor’s Degree in Political Science at Loyola University in New Orleans. He is a partner in Tee Bays Sausage in Basile.
Poncho is a member of the First Methodist Church of Oakdale, a lifelong resident of Louisiana and a native of Allen Parish.
He is the oldest of six children raised by a single mother.
