DeQuincy Tigers baseball action

Mar. 14 – DeQuincy 4, South Beauregard 5 – The Tigers fell to the Golden Knights of South Beauregard 5-4.

In the Contest Cullen Pharris took the loss for the Tigers and the Tigers could only muster out four hits in the contest. Those came from the bats of Cooper Hext, Cullen Pharris, Hunter Perkins and Hadley Cooley.

South Beauregard’s winning Pitcher was D. Jimerez and leading the Golden Knights at the plate were J. Broussard with two hits and a hit each by A Davis, C. Fisher, C. Kibler, and C. Langley.

Mar. 15 – DeQuincy 2, Pikin 11 – The Tigers couldn’t seem to get things going against Pitkin and took the loss 11-2. J. P. Wilkins took the loss on the mound for the Tigers.

Leading at the plate for the Tigers were Cooper Hext, Radon Rosalis, J. P. Wilkins and Luke Miller, all collecting a double a piece and Cullen Pharris and Hunter Perkins each added a single in the contest for the Tigers.

Mar. 16 – DeQuincy 10, St. Augustine 6 – Tigers took on St. Augustine out of New Orleans and came out on top 10-6. In the contest the Tigers’ winning pitcher was Hadley Cooley.

The Tigers collected three doubles in the game, coming off the bats of Cooper Hext, Radon Rosalis, amd Luke Miller. Gunnar Gearen provided two hits and J. P. Wilkins and Hadley Cooley each added a hit a piece for the Tigers.

Mar. 18 – DeQuincy 8, Lake Arthur 7 – The Tigers’ Cooper Hext picked up the win for the Tigers against the Lake Arthur Tigers.

Leading the Tigers at the plate were Jacob Goodfriend with two hits. Cullen Pharris and Hunter Perkins each added a hit a piece in the victory.

Mar. 19 – DeQuincy 4, Rosepine 3 (District) – The Tigers started off District with a big win over Rosepine at Rosepine defeating the Eagles 4-3. Cullen Pharris picked up the win for the Tigers.

Leading the Tigers on offense were Hunter Perkins with two hits followed by a hit each by Gunnar Gearen, Luke Miller, J. P. Wilkins, a Triple, and Colby Pharis.
