Two events are scheduled for subcontractors to meet with Kiewit, the prime contractor for Venture Global’s Calcasieu Pass LNG plant in Cameron.
The first will be held Monday, Mar. 25, at the Cameron Recreation Center, 300 LeBleu Camp Rd. in Creole. Registration begins at 1 p.m. Kiewit and Venture Global will begin the presentation at 1:30 p.m., and the event ends at 4 p.m.
The second event is set for Tuesday, Mar. 26, at the Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles. The morning session registration opens at 9 a.m. Kiewit and Venture Global will begin the presentation at 9:30 a.m., and the event ends at noon. The afternoon session registration begins at 1 p.m. Kiewit and Venture Global will begin the presentation at 1:30 p.m., and the event ends at 4 p.m.
The project team will meet with the community and subcontractors interested in working on the Calcasieu Pass project. Experience in the following areas is preferred: design and engineering, services, geotechnical and environmental services, equipment, electrical and mechanical subcontracting, material fabrication, material and consumable supply, construction equipment and rentals, trucking, commissioning, testing and inspection, and site services.
