Janet Alfonso was born Dec. 24, 1946, and passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at the age of 75. She enjoyed painting, drawing, fashion, and singing songs by Patsy Cline. Janet had an avid green thumb and could grow anything she got her hands on. She also loved spending her time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Sean Lagarosse and wife, Christina and Paul Lagarosse and wife, Dale; grandchildren, Abigail, Aiden, Sadie, Skyler, Aubrie, Zane, Arya, and Anna Lagarosse; brother, Theron “Bob” Allen, Jr.; and her uncle, Bill Adkins.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Lagarosse; grandson, Patrick Burke; mother, June Martin; and sister, Doris Reeves.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th St., DeQuincy.
