Major Jerry Bell and Sgt. Annajo Haynes recently completed a Homicide Investigator’s course in Lake Charles. The course began on Sept. 20 and ended on Sept. 23. The course was taught by very experienced Homicide Investigators from around the United States and included subjects on Aquatic Death Investigations, Sexual Assault, and Detecting Deception through subconscious communications. New legal updates were also taught.
Major Bell and Sgt. Haynes received their certificates for completing the course and now they have satisfied Louisiana training requirements to be lead investigators in homicide investigations.
Both Bell and Haynes related that the course was very beneficial for all types of Investigations.
