Chester Dougharty

Chester Dougharty died on Monday, May 4, 2020 at a care facility in Kingman, Ariz.

He grew up in Allen Parish before he joined the U.S. Navy. After serving his military time he worked for Lockheed Aircraft and later became a district manager for Wenchel’s Donuts. After full retirement he moved to Kingman, Ariz. and opened Chet’s Lock & Key.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Simpson; daughters Denise and Bryan Anderson of Kingman, Aria., and Kathleen and Gary Casteel of Mobile, Ala.; two grandsons; siblings Elaine Shoemake, James Dougharty, Preston Dougharty, and Drusilla Wilkins, all of DeQuincy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ola Dougharty of Mittie.
