Craig Anthony Guillory, 73, of Creole died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026 in a healthcare facility.
He was born and raised in Lake Charles where he was a 1972 graduate of St. Louis High School. Following graduation, he served the United States Marine Corps 2nd Division at Camp LeJeune in N. C. After completing his military service, he made Creole his home, where he lived the remainder of his life. He worked a brief time for Slumberger before he began studies in conservation and law enforcement with 20 years of service as a Game Warden for Region 5. He then began a career with Cameron Parish Water Works where he retired with nearly 20 years of service.
He dedicated many years to Scouting, serving as a Scoutmaster and supporting his sons throughout their Scouting years. He took great pride in helping them achieve their rank as an Eagle Scout.
He was of Catholic faith and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
He is survived by five children, Charles Allen McKinney (Ashley) of Ragley, Patrice Renee Guillory of Hayes, Va., Matthew Scott Guillory (Lori) of Big Lake, Clint Joseph Guillory of Tuscumbia, Ala. and Recia Ann Guillory of Longville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Theresa Kay Jasper of Mauriceville, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Guillory and Thelma Mae Primeaux Guillory.
His funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 14, in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Deacon Ray Menard officiated. Interment services with Military honors followed at Prien Memorial Park.
