News Office
The DeQuincy News office will be closed for the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, Sept. 7. Regular hours will resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Due to the holiday, deadlines have been accelerated.
Display ads, photos and news items must be in the office by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3.
Submissions may be made one of these ways:

- drop off: 203 E. Harrison St. (after hours place in white mailbox.)
Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. until 12 noon.

City Hall
DeQuincy City Hall will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 7. and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Library Branches
All Calcasieu Parish Public Library branches and facilities will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, for the Labor Day holiday. No overdue fines will be charged during this holiday closure.
