PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given in compliance with La. R.S. 42:19.1, that Community Center and Playground District No. One of Ward Six of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (the “District”), will meet in open and public session on the 14th day of September, 2026, at 12:00 o’clock p.m. at 509 Oak St, DeQuincy, Louisiana, 70633, to consider calling an election to be held in the District on April 17, 2027, to consider authorizing ad valorem property tax secured bonds for the purpose of establishing, acquiring, constructing, improving, extending, maintaining and operating within the District a recreational system and facilities, including but not limited to a community center/gymnasium and other works of public improvement, for the benefit of all its citizens, with all necessary equipment and installations in connection therewith, title to which shall be in the public.
