Bro. Gary Ferris is the new Discipleship Pastor at First Baptist Church of DeQuincy.
Ferris and his family are relocating from Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During his time in Fort Worth, he also worked for Turning Point USA.
He and his wife, Samie, have been married for nearly nine years and have the joy of raising six children together, two boys and four girls. Their oldest is seven years old, and their youngest is just over two weeks old.
Above all, Ferris’ desire at FBC is to see people conformed to the image of Christ, growing in holiness and increasing in joy as they eagerly await the return of their Savior.
