Daniel “Danny” Dickerson was born Mar. 15, 2004, and passed away Sunday, Apr. 5, 2026, at the age of 22.
He will be remembered as a selfless, kind, and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone he met. His contagious smile could brighten even the darkest days, and his respectful nature earned him the admiration of friends, family, and all who knew him. A hardworking individual, he approached life with dedication and quiet strength, always willing to lend a helping hand without expecting anything in return.
His presence brought warmth and comfort, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Dickerson; parents, Brandon and Kimberly Dickerson; brothers, Noah Dickerson and Isaac Dickerson; father-in-law, Jason Higginbotham; mother-in-law, Christine Cart; godson, Jacob Cart; maternal grandparents, Elwood and Aileen Vincent; grandmother-in-law, Amy Marie Cart; uncles, Jeremy Dickerson and Steven Vincent; along with numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Betty Dickerson; and grandfather-in-law, Curtis Cart.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, Apr. 10, at LifePoint Pentecostal Church in Sulphur. Pastor Marshal Baggett will be officiating. Interment to follow at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
