Just like the baseball team, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers softball team travel to Pickering to take out their frustrations after losing what would’ve been an outright District championship two days prior. Needless to say the bats were hot and the defense was outstanding against Pickering as DeQuincy wasted no time at all scoring runs as they would rip apart Pickering by a final score of 20-1 and just three innings.
Maddie Vinatieri pitched all three innings only allowing two hits and one run while recording six strikeouts!
Audi Flower was 1-4 with 2 RBIs, Emily Cooley was 3-4 with 2 RBI’s, Onnie Remedies was 2-3 with 3 RBIs, Maddie Vinatieri was 1-3 with an RBI, Aubree Royer was 2-3 with an RBI, Addli Scott was 2-3 with an RBI, Bailey LaBorde was 1-1, Kayden Whotte was 2-2 with 2 RBIs, and Olivia Oden was 1-2 with an RBI.
DeQuincy 20, Pickering 1
