Last Thursday, the DeQuincy Tigers made the trip to Dry Creek to take on the East Beauregard Trojans in District action. It did not take long for the Tigers to put some runs on board as they would once again run rule the struggling Trojans by a final score of 10-0 in six innings.
Noah Pettifield was 1-2 with 2 RBIs, Turner Rodriguez was 2-3 with an RBI, Kahle Miller was 1-2 with an RBI, Bryce Dyson was 1-2 with an RBI, Jeremy Gatlin Jr. was 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Ethan Faulk was 1-3 with an RBI, Grant Rainwater was 1-2 with an RBI, Tucker Goza was 1-3, and Rowdy Griffin was 1-3.
Grant Rainwater pitched 5 innings only allowing 3 walks and recorded 8 strikeouts, Ethan Faulk closed the final inning only allowing one hit and recorded a strikeout.
