Cynthia Marie Brignac was born on Mar. 23, 1959, and passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026.
Cynthia loved swimming, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed watching football, especially the Saints, cooking, and gardening. She was a faithful member of Abundant Life Church and cherished time with her family. She will be deeply loved and greatly missed by all who know her.
She is survived by her child, Lindsey Brignac and partner Dylan Pourciaux; grandchildren, Bently Brignac, Gunner Olmsted, and Asher Pourciaux; mother, Roise Johnson; siblings, Gladys Cryer and husband Michael Cryer, Kathy Boykin, and Neil McCraney and wife Racquel McCraney; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Brignac; husband, Dennis McDaniel; brother, David McCraney; parents, Neil McCraney Jr.; grandnephew, Chase Cryer; and beloved dog, Bella.
The family received friends from 9 until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 21 at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. George Lee Glass officiated. Interment followed at Bilbo Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
