Early Voting begins Nov. 1st

Early Voting for the Nov. 15, 2025 Open General Election will be conducted seven days, from Saturday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Nov. 8 (excluding Sunday, Nov. 2) from 8:30 a.m. through 6 p.m., for those who would like to vote early or who will be out of the Parish on Election Day.

Only three sites will be available for Early Voting:

Registrar of Voters Office Parish Courthouse, 1000 Ryan Street – Room 7, Lake Charles.

Sulphur Law Enforcement Building, 500 N. Huntington St, Sulphur.

Moss Bluff Library, 216 Parish Rd., Lake Charles.

Items on the ballot in Calcasieu Parish for the Nov. 15, 2025 Election are:

*School District No. 24 ($12M Bond – 25 Yrs.)

*School District No. 30 ($83M Bond – 25 Yrs.)

*Ward One Fire Protection District One (5.05 Mills Renewal – 10 Yrs.)

Important reminder:

Absentee Ballots can be requested through Nov. 12, 2025 by 4:30 p.m. and must be returned by 4:30 p.m., Nov. 14, 2025 to the registrar of voters office at 1000 Ryan St, Room 7, Lake Charles via mail or hand delivered (other than Military/Overseas). Ballots can also be hand delivered to any of the three early voting sites during early voting.
