Ricky G. Gilland was born Oct. 2, 1951 and passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at the age of 73.
He is survived by his children, Rick Gilland and Taffery Plexico and husband Richard “Bubba”; grandchildren, Justin Gilland and wife Alex, Julia Turner and husband Scott, Chris Jones and wife Heather and Blake Plexico and wife Shaylan; great-grandchildren, Kadynce, Andrew, Darrell, Braxton, Melynie, JoHanna, Jason, Valerie, Trey, James, and Allisyn.
He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Jeanie Gilland.
Cremation has been trusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
