Connie Louise Barfield Frost, a cherished wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 at the age of 88 years old. Her life was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and faith, and she touched the hearts of everyone blessed to know her.
Throughout her life, she carried with her a warmth that drew people in and a kindness that left them changed. Connie devoted her life to her family. She was a beloved wife to her husband William “Bob” Frost, Sr. She was a proud and loving mother to Bill (Janelle) Frost, John (Candice) Frost, and Robin (Tony) Presley, and the most adoring grandmother to Tony Presley Jr., Taylor Nauck, Caleb Frost, Jade Frost, Carmen Trammell, Paige Frost and her three treasured great-grandchildren, William, Ethan, and Eleanor. Her home was always a safe haven filled with the smell of her cooking, the sound of laughter, and the comfort of her prayers.
She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, Baley and Janie Barfield; as well as her sisters, Jane Munn and Barbara Ellison.
Please join us on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Grace Church, 1021 W. 1st St. in DeRidder for a public visitation from 9 – 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of Connie’s life beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder. Pastor George Lee Glass will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather as we honor her life, share cherished memories, and give thanks for the time we were given with her. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Connie’s name can be made to Heroes of Hope Beauregard Health system foundation or Grace church.
