Leatrice Wilson to apply for a variance for review and approval of setbacks for less than the required
footage on the property at 1109 Richard Allen Street.
Jon Angell to apply for a variance to put his 2014 mobile home on a lot inside the city limits of DeQuincy
Council to approve the change of the date of the October meeting to Tuesday, October 14, 2025, due to a federal holiday on October 13, 2025.
Adopt a resolution to authorize Mayor Smith to act on behalf of the City of DeQuincy in all matters concerning the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and City of DeQuincy, a Federal Grant Manual for Subrecipients.
Adopt a resolution to authorize Mayor Smith to act on behalf of the City of DeQuincy in all matters concerning the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the State of Louisiana and the City of DeQuincy for the replacement of sidewalks, planning, and construction.
Council to ratify Mayor Smith’s signature and allow him to sign all additional documents to accept the
Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the Louisiana Department of the Treasury and the State of Louisiana for equipment for the fire department.
Introduce Ordinance # 993 and set a public hearing for October 14, 2025, to declare property located on Grand Ave., generally known as the Grand Ave Gym, to become surplus property, and allow it to be sold through the bid process.
Introduce Ordinance 999 and set a public hearing for October 14, 2025, amending Chapter 5-Buildings, Article 1, Sec 5-1 Uniform Construction Code Adopted, and Sec 5-13. Schedule of permit fees of the Code of Ordinances.
Public Hearing and adoption of Ordinance # 968B, amending the FYE 9/30/25 budget.
Public Hearing and adoption of Ordinance # 997, amending the Capital Asset Policy.
Public Hearing and adoption of Ordinance # 998, to authorize Mayor Smith to sign all documents to declare the following vehicles to be surplus and sell to the highest bidder, and if there are no bids, then authorize the city to sell for junk:
