DeQuincy Primary School’s new Assistant Principal is Kaci Duhon.
Duhon graduated from Sam Houston High School in 2001. She earned her bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University and master’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she is currently pursuing a doctorate in education. With 18 years of experience in education, she began her career as a special education teacher before moving into school administration.
She displays a servant leadership style, focusing on supporting teachers and students. Her calm demeanor is particularly effective in students during their early elementary years. She has a strong background in special education and experience in coaching teachers and supporting instructional improvement.
Duhon has been married for 19 years. She and her husband, Jeremy, have three children and reside in Sulphur.
