DeQuincy High School will hold new student registration Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 4-6, daily between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. To register a student, a parent or guardian should bring the following documentation:
- A copy of the parent’s or guardian’s identification.
- Two current utility bills with both the service address and the parent or guardian’s name listed. One bill must be a current electric bill. Other utility bills may be for gas, water, or cable service.
- A copy of the student’s birth certificate and Social Security card.
- Any other applicable legal documents, such as custody agreements, Foster care documentation, and/or adoption documents.
- A copy of the student’s most recent report card.
The school gym will be open Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 9-10 a.m. and again from 1-2 p.m. for students to pick up their class schedules, pick up previously-ordered school t-shirts, and take student ID pictures. Parking for pickup day will be in the west parking lot, and students should enter through the doors on the west side of the gym. School fees must be paid before students can receive their schedules. To pay school fees, visit https://dequincyhigh.cpsb.org and click “Pay School Fees” under the “How Do I . . .” section. No cash or check payments will be received at pick-up day.
The first day of class is Friday, Aug. 8. Report time for students is 7:42 a.m.
