DeQuincy Elementary School will register new students on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 4-5, from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3p.m. Students new to Calcasieu Parish should bring the following documents to enroll:
- Birth certificate
- Social Security card
- Immunization record
- Photo identification of student’s parent or guardian
- Address verification, including an electric bill and another utility bill showing the household’s street address
- Custody papers, if applicable
Class Rosters will be posted Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 12 p.m.
Meet the teacher for all students will be Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The 3rd grade students will meet in the cafeteria at 4:30 p.m. for a parent meeting.
The first day of school is Friday, Aug. 8.
