Bryan Puryear was born Nov. 8, 1985, and passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 39.
Bryan enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was cooking, grilling, or mowing his yard that he took great pride in. He was a beloved husband, father, son, and uncle. He was often found goofing off with his family and friends. He had an unwavering love for his children and family. Bryan was truly one of a kind.
He is survived by his loving wife, Aimee Puryear; children, Caroline, Bryson, and Aurora; mother, Natalie Duplechin (Pappy Wayne); father, Lonnie Puryear; siblings, Jason Puryear (Amber), Sarah Paugh (Alex), Patrick Duplechin (Jessica), and Amy Manning (Dean); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts, uncles, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack A. and Bonnie Jo Nelson; paternal grandparents, Leon and Melba Jean Puryear; and uncle, Craig Nelson.
The family received friends from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at the Church of Christ in DeQuincy. Mr. Al Woodard officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
