Logan Joseph Pelt, 22, was born Apr. 3, 2002, in Lake Charles, and passed away on Sunday, Mar. 9, 2025, in Austin, Texas.
Logan was a young man of few words. However, when he did have something to say, it always made you laugh. He would let everyone around him shine while he would sit back and enjoy the show. When chaos was surrounding him, he would be shaking his head with a smirk on his face. He had a huge love for his family and friends, and often thought of everyone else over himself. Logan was a simple man. He didn’t require or ask for much. He found joy in the outdoors spending time hunting, fishing and camping. Logan and his quiet ways and adorable smirk will be missed by all.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Gregory Pelt, of DeRidder, and Shannon Soileau of Austin, Texas; grandparents, James and Nancy Pelt of DeRidder and Lynn and Sherry Yellott of DeQuincy; brothers, Kaden Pelt, Brady Graham and Bryce Pelt; along with his aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and friends.
The family received friends from 9-11 a.m., Sunday, Mar. 16, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
The family would like to give a very heartfelt thank you to those who have invested and supported Logan during his journey on this Earth.
