Norman Edward Pinney was born June 28, 1971, and passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, at the age of 53. He was a fan for LSU, Saints, and Astros. He also enjoyed karaoke and trips to the casino. Most of all, he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughter Erica Pinney; fiancé, Crystal Lytle; stepdaughter, Daley Lege; father, Lawrence Evans Pinney; sister, Jennifer Webster and husband Freddy; brothers, Michael Pinney and Kevin Manuel; niece; Heidi; nephew, Brennan; and his dog, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Powers Manuel; and grandparents, Roland Powers, Mary Henry Anderson, Woodrow and Lassie Pinney.
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
