Doris Reeves Hundley, 91, was born July 20, 1933, in Topsy and passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2025 in Westlake.
She is survived by daughters, Jamie Andreas and husband Rev. Ricky, Jerita Abshire and husband Jimmie; grandchildren, Candice LaGrone and husband Ethan, Colin Andreas and wife Christian, Brandi Broussard and husband Jeremy, Jonathan Prudhomme; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry “Roy” and Julia Parker Reeves; sisters, Dorothy Sonnier, Lucy Busby Reeves, Thelma Busby Reeves, and Ruth Busby Reeves; and brothers, Almon “Pud” Reeves and Elray Busby.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Creel Memorial Gardens Chapel in Reeves. Rev. Ricky Andreas and Rev. Carlton Jackson Jr. will be officiating. Interment to follow at Creel Cemetery in Reeves.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
