Jodie Andrew Cannon, 17, of Longville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025 in Longville. His visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. until time of service at First Baptist Church Longville. Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 13, at 4 p.m. at FBC Longville. Interment was at Rosepine Cemetery. Revs. Corey Townsley and Phillip McDuffie officiated.
Jodie is survived by his parents, Jaran and Fanelle Cannon of Longville; three siblings, Landen, Casey, and Anastasia Cannon; maternal grandparents Eugene and Karen Williams of DeRidder; paternal grandparents Noel and Kym Cannon of Lawrenceville, Ga., and June and Jimmy Warden of DeRidder; and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to musicmakers2u.org. It is a musical organization that puts musical instruments in the hands of children who are not able to afford them.
