Rhonda Latham, 63, was born in Shreveport at Doctors hospital on Apr. 22, 1961, and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025. She was a resident of Shreveport for most of her life. She spent a few brief stints in DeQuincy, but always moved back to Shreveport. Until 2017, when she moved to DeQuincy for good and decided that was where she was meant to be.
She is survived by her children, Jonathan Raab and girlfriend Kristina of Shreveport, Christopher Raab and wife Samantha of Doyline, Miranda Raab, and Rebekah Chargois and boyfriend Rick of Eunice; life partner, Charles Ward; grandchildren, Kelsey Lancaster, Joseph Raab, Renee Raab, Peyton Raab, Brayden Raab, Makaila Davidson, Brantly Raab, Brian Johnson, Ashton Raab, Cayden Green, Dennis Cascio, Skyanne Raab, Mia Cascio, and Joslyn Pierson; great-grandchildren, Malia Raab, Maya Raab, and Tripp Raab; and siblings, Tim Collins, Randall Meek Jr., Amanda Wimberly, Tammi Willis, and Christian Meek; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Meek of Shreveport; father, Randall Meek Sr of Monroe; and brother, Joseph Meek.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at The Church International in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
